The last time we did a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) photo shoot is when I’m pregnant, by none other than, (drum rollsssssssss) Mr. Palmers. haha So here, It’s time to take a snap of our little boy who says hi to the world last February 27, 2018. But before that I’m gonna give some tips on How to make a DIY Newborn Photography Shoot with your cutest Nugget.

1. Search for your “Peg” photos on Pinterest

There’s so many beautiful photos you might want to check on Pinterest. Just sign up using your E-mail address or your social media account and type what you wanna see in the search engine. And tadaaaa!!!!! Everything will load up in just a bit. I had this account a couple of years ago, and it really does helpful, from my Pre-nuptial, Wedding and just a self-portrait peg photos.

2. Look or Buy some props

There’s a lot of props that you can use when doing your doing a Newborn Photography Shoot. You can actually use Blankets, Swaddle, headbands, Cap, and Baby accessories. You just have to play and be creative. But for today’s shoot, I only use minimal props, because my boy didn’t want the idea of getting captured. Haha

3.Order a Costume You might refer for a crochet costume for your little one. In my case, I ordered this cute little “BEE crochet” in Lazada.ph for only Php350.00. It comes with a black cap and cutest bum-bum cover. Although, I only used this once, it’s okay, for as long as my heart is full and happy.

4.Get some help from your Partner or an Assistant

It’s actually not a do-it-yourself, I must say, do-it-with your partner. Because hello, I admit, I can’t do this alone. Haha I need another hand to cheer our baby, do a peek-a-boo and sing a rhyme helps too.

5.Patience

It took a lot of patience when doing it! So make the best effort. Good luck guys!!! (insert finger heart)

6.Camera

In order to get good resolution and high quality images, use camera (eg. DSLR, Digital, and Mirrorless Camera) or phone camera (eg. Iphone, Huawei, and Samsung). Also, use filters to add color and drama to every photos.

It’s quite challenging to take some good photos of our baby, just keep in mind that baby’s safety is our number one priority. So please don’t too harsh on yourself! Simple photos are sometimes the best. Happy snapping. ♥♥♥
